Extra Soft and Fluffy White Bread
My favorite White Bread recipe
Ingredients
- 4 ½ Cups - All Purpose or Bread Flour
- 2 Cups - Warm Milk 110 Degrees
- 2 Teaspoon - Instant Yeast
- 1 Teaspoon - Baking Powder Always use aluminum free baking powder!!!
- 1 Teaspoon - Salt
- 1 Each -1 Egg
- 3 Tablespoon -Sugar
- 1 Stick -Butter (1/2 cup) Well softened but not melted!
Instructions
- In the bowl of the stand mixer, add yeast, sugar, milk and egg. Mix well and let sit for 5 minutes to proof the yeast.
- Add flour and salt, using dough hook, knead for five minutes
- Add softened butter, mix until soft and fluffy
- Form a dough ball, cover and let rise for one hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down dough to release gases, then remove from pan.
- Divide dough into two portions.
- Then divide each portion into three portions.
- Form small balls then roll into small cylinder-shaped loaves, Place three cylinders sideways in each loaf pan.
- Cover and let rise for another hour.
- After an hour, bake @ 350 ℉ for 40 minutes
- Remove from oven and brush with melted butter.
- Enjoy!
